September 11-17, 2020

Provence, France

Picture

Beginning in Aix en Provence, we will trace the mythic footsteps of Mary Magdalene in  a  journey that celebrates the incredibly rich spiritual and cultural history of  Southern France. We will   follow her journey  from Saint Saveur Cathedral to the Forest of Artemis and the cave of La Baume, gasp in wonder at the beauty of  Ile Honorat (the island off of Cannes where St. Patrick became a monk), thrill to the art  iconography at St. Michel du Var, bask in Gregorian chant at Thoronet Abbey and savor the earthly pleasures of farmer's markets and picnics by waterfalls,  all while creating an intimate sense of community through morning circles of music, poetry and ritual . Our home will be a gracious and historic hotel- once a Medieval monastery-   nestled in a charming villages  . Spacious rooms have private baths,   with balconies  that overlook a cloistered garden.
